About gifts

When a relative gives to a child's future, a service fee is taken out. It covers what the card costs to process and helps run FutureRoots, and it is always shown before anyone pays. The rest goes to an account the child's parent or guardian sets up and controls.

Do the grandparents have to pay?

No. One membership covers everyone in the family. The people you invite are never asked for a card, and anyone can be invited on the Free plan too.

Can I give Premium to another family?

Yes. A gift year is $99, one time. It does not renew and it will never charge you again.

What happens if we stop paying?

Your family moves to the Free plan and everything you have saved stays yours, videos included. Nothing is deleted for stopping.

Is the memory checking a paid feature?

No. Every memory gets its record on every plan, at no cost, and anyone can check one without an account. How we protect your memories. Premium adds the paperwork, not the protection.
